At 0.20 € a minute, with no volume discount — that is what the packs are for. Anything between 10 € and 5,000 €, and it lands in the account the moment the payment clears.
The first 30 minutes are on us
Save a card and they are in your account. Nothing is charged and the card page says 0 € too — the card is there for the day you want to top up in one click, not to bill you quietly.
How we count a minute
This is the part worth reading, because it is where the bill actually comes from — and where we are not like the rest.
Speech, not duration
A one-hour recording with twenty minutes of talking pays for twenty minutes. Silence, applause and the wait before somebody starts are not billed, because there is nothing in them to translate. Most services bill the length of the file.
The second language costs a third of the first
The audio is heard once and every language comes out of that single listen. So the first language is a whole minute and each one after it is 0.35 of one. Fourteen languages cost 5.55 times one, not fourteen.
You know the price before it runs
For anything queued, we measure the speech first and answer with the minutes and the cost. Nothing starts until that number exists, so no invoice is ever a surprise.
An hour-long service, in four languages
- 01The service runs for an hour.
- 02Forty minutes of that is somebody actually speaking.
- 03Four languages: the first whole, the other three at 0.35 each → ×2.05.
- 0440 × 2.05 = 82 minutes of credit.
On the 500-minute pack that hour costs 13.94 €. Billed by file length and by language, the same hour would be four hours.
What it costs, for each thing
Live is priced by the minute of voice. Anything you send us to process is priced by the hour of speech, or by characters — different work, different unit.
| Service | Price | What goes in | What comes out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Live translation | From 0.135 € / min of voice | The room's sound, over SRT or RTMP | Voice in fourteen languages, in under a second |
| Transcription | 3 € / hour of speech | Audio or video, up to 60 min | Text, SRT, VTT and JSON |
| Transcription and translation | 6 € / hour of speech | Audio or video, up to 60 min | The above, in up to fourteen languages |
| Subtitles | Included | The recording you already sent | SRT and VTT per language, with timings |
| Speaker labels | +2 € / hour of speech | A recording with several voices | Every line with who said it |
| Documents and long text | 40 € / million characters | txt, md, csv, docx, odt, pdf, doc, rtf | The same document, translated |
Extra languages add 35% each, never another whole one. Up to 60 minutes and 200 MB per recording, 100,000 characters per text and three jobs queued at a time. Results stay for 7 days; the file you sent is deleted the moment the job is done.
Prices are before VAT. What gets added depends on where you are: 21% in Spain, your own country's rate elsewhere in the EU, and nothing at all with a valid intra-community VAT number. Stripe works it out and itemises it on the invoice — so nobody reads 20 € and gets charged 24.20 € without having been told.

Built with these people in the room
Not verticals invented for a landing page. These are who has actually used it.
Parishes and temples
A congregation that no longer shares one language, a lectern microphone, and a QR at the door. The most demanding case there is: it happens every week, at a fixed hour, and it cannot fail.
See live translation →Conferences and events
A booth and two interpreters per language is a budget most events do not have. Fourteen languages out of the same audio is a line item that fits.
See live translation →Councils and public bodies
Sessions that have to be followable by people who arrived last year, and minutes that have to exist afterwards. Live in the room, transcript the same evening.

What will this cost me?
You can work it out yourself
Every figure on this page is the figure the system charges. There is no sales price and no list price, and nothing is negotiated into existence at the end of a call.
Will it work for me?
Find out before paying
Thirty minutes is enough to sit in your own room, with your own microphone, and hear whether it works. That is the only test that means anything.
What if I stop using it?
Then you stop paying
There is nothing to cancel, because there is nothing recurring. Unspent minutes stay where they are until you come back.
Everything worth asking before you pay
- 01What exactly is a minute?
- A minute of voice translated into one language. Not a minute of file: if an hour-long recording has twenty minutes of speech in it, it costs twenty. And not a minute per language: the first language is a whole minute and each one after it is 0.35, because the audio is heard once.
- 02Do the minutes expire?
- No. Nothing renews and nothing lapses. What you buy stays there until you spend it, for as long as the account exists.
- 03What happens if I run out in the middle of an event?
- Nothing is cut off at the worst possible moment. There is a margin below zero so a room that is broadcasting carries on to the end, and you are warned well before you reach it.
- 04Is there a monthly fee?
- No, and there is no plan to move to one. You buy minutes when you need minutes. A quiet month costs nothing.
- 05Do I have to leave a card on file?
- Only if you want the thirty free minutes, and even then nothing is charged for them. Buying a pack does not store a card you did not ask to store, and you can remove it from your account whenever you like.
- 06Do I get a proper invoice?
- One per purchase, issued and kept by Stripe, carrying your billing name and tax number. You download them from your account. VAT is itemised, and an intra-community VAT number is honoured.
- 07How long does a recording take?
- Around a tenth of its own length, when the machine is free — an hour of audio is roughly six minutes of waiting. Deferred work always gives way to a live room, so on a busy Sunday morning it waits.
- 08Which languages?
- Fourteen: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian. All at once, from the same audio.
- 09Can I get a refund?
- Write to us and we will look at it. Credit you have not spent is the straightforward case. What has already been translated has already cost us the machine. The terms have the detail.
- 10What is the small print?
- The prices above, plus VAT where it applies. There is no setup fee, no per-user fee, no charge for extra rooms and no charge for asking for a different output format a week later.
Thirty minutes is enough to know
Your own room, your own microphone, your own congregation. That tells you more than anything written on this page.
