A cookie is a small file a site leaves in your browser so it can remember something. Some sites use them to remember what you chose; others use them to follow you around. This page says exactly which ones we use and what for.
WHAT WE USE
Necessary — always on. Without these the site does not work properly, and no consent is required for them.
NEXT_LOCALE (cookie, one year): the language you are reading in, so the site does not go back to English on the next page.
liora-theme (browser storage): whether you chose the light or the dark theme.
liora-cookie-consent (browser storage): what you answered when we asked about cookies, so that we do not ask again on every page.
lf_try (browser storage): a random number identifying this browser during the free trial, so that reloading the page gives you back the room you already had instead of spending another one. It carries no name and no email, we do not cross it with anything, and it does not leave the trial.
If you sign in to the control panel, it also sets a session cookie which keeps you signed in and is deleted when you sign out or after a day.
Analytics and advertising — only if you press "Accept all". Until then, Google's tags are loaded with every permission denied and set nothing.
Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_… cookies, up to two years), to know how many people visit the site and which pages they read.
Google Ads (cookies such as _gcl_au, from Google, up to ninety days), to know which visits and which contact forms came from one of our ads, and to be able to show you our ads again on other sites. Accepting grants Google its three advertising permissions: storage, user data and personalisation. From the form, Google receives the signal that it was sent, not its content or your details.
If you press "Necessary only", those permissions stay denied: the Google Ads tag sets no cookies, and Google only receives, without cookies or identifiers, the signal that somebody visited a page or sent a form, from which it works out in aggregate how many visits came from an ad.
CHANGING YOUR MIND
Clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Every browser can also block or delete cookies for a site, or for all sites, from its own settings — usually under Privacy.
Blocking the necessary ones will not break anything important; it will make the site forget your language and your theme.
