IN SHORT
We do not store audio, and we do not store what was said. The audio is translated as it passes through and is gone the moment it has been delivered: no recordings, no transcripts, no text of the translations, in any language. There is nothing to hand over, nothing to leak and nothing to subpoena, because there is nothing there.
What we do keep is the account itself, what is needed to invoice it, and a count of how much was translated — seconds, sentences and characters. Numbers, which are what the invoice is made of and which say nothing about what was said. The rest of this document is the detail of that.
1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
GEEK DEVOPS S.L. ("Liora Flow"), tax ID B40639494, registered office in Valencia, Spain.
Data protection contact: [email protected]
2. TWO DIFFERENT ROLES
For your account, your billing and this website, we are the data controller: we decide what is collected and why, and this policy explains it.
For the audio of your rooms and meetings, we are a processor and you are the controller. We translate what you send us, on your instructions, and we keep no recording of it. What we do with it is set out in section 5.
3. WHAT WE COLLECT, AND WHY
Account: the name of your organisation, your email address, your password (stored only as a hash, never as you typed it), the country you chose, and the language you use the panel in. To give you the Service you asked for.
Billing: legal name, tax number, address and billing email. To issue the invoices the law requires us to issue.
Payment: handled by Stripe. We store the identifier Stripe gives your organisation and nothing about your card, which never reaches us.
Use of the Service: for each room and each day, how many seconds of speech there were, how many seconds of translated voice, how many sentences and how many characters. Numbers, and nothing else — see section 5.
Connections: when a device connected or disconnected from a room, and if it was refused, why. So that you can tell whether your equipment is working. Deleted after thirty days.
Website: if you accept analytics cookies, statistics about how the site is used. If you do not, nothing.
Support: whatever you write to us, for as long as it takes to deal with it and afterwards as a record of what was agreed.
4. WHY WE ARE ALLOWED TO
Providing the Service and your account: performance of our contract with you.
Invoicing and keeping accounts: our legal obligations under Spanish tax and commercial law.
Keeping the Service secure, preventing abuse and pursuing unpaid debts: our legitimate interest.
Analytics on this website: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
5. WHAT WE DO NOT KEEP
We do not record the audio we translate. We do not store transcripts of it or the text of the translations. Nothing that was said in one of your rooms is kept by us after it has been delivered.
What is kept about a session is a count: seconds of speech, seconds of translated voice, number of sentences, number of characters. Those numbers are what your invoice is made of, and they say nothing about what was said.
6. WHO ELSE SEES IT
Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., for payments and invoices.
Google Ireland Ltd., for website analytics, only if you accepted them.
Our email provider, to deliver the messages the Service sends you.
Our hosting provider, which holds the servers the Service runs on.
Each of them acts under a contract that limits them to what we ask of them. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We sell your data to nobody, ever.
7. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Your account, while it exists, and for as long afterwards as any legal obligation requires.
Invoices and what supports them, six years, as Spanish commercial law requires.
Connection events, thirty days.
Consumption figures, for as long as your account exists, because they are the history of what you were charged.
Support correspondence, three years.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
You may ask us for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected, for it to be deleted, for its use to be restricted or objected to, and for it to be handed to you or to somebody else in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it without that affecting what was done before.
Write to [email protected]. We answer within a month.
If you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es), or to the authority where you live.
9. SECURITY
Passwords are stored hashed and cannot be recovered from what we hold, only replaced. Audio in transit is encrypted. Access to the panel is by account, with roles that limit what each person can do. Cards never reach our systems.
10. CHANGES
If we change this policy we will publish the new version here with its date, and if the change matters we will tell you by email.
